Black Queer Elders in the South Documentary

Two elderly women with glasses smiling and talking to each other, sitting outdoors on a bench in a park with green trees and grass.

This is an episodic documentary dedicated to capturing and preserving the stories and lived experiences of Black Queer elders across the American South. In a political moment actively working to erase these histories, this project puts people at the center of telling their own stories.

Currently in pre-production and moving into production in 2027, the film is partnering with nonprofit organizations to connect participants with resources and community beyond the screen.
